Brett has always loved creating: writing, drawing, painting, playing music. If she was creating she was at her happiest. In 2009 she decided to leave corporate America to pursue her passions. Since then, she has become International Bestselling author of the 52 Small Changes Series, as well as, A Whole New You. She’s been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Spa Magazine, Stuff Boston, American Fitness, The METRO and Organic Spa Magazine, and has appeared on NBC, FOX and CBS in the New York, Boston and Charlotte markets.
After having her son in 2013, Brett launched her art business – Tiny Toes Design by Brett Blumenthal – where she specializes in wildlife and animal portraiture, painting, and illustration. Her art is available globally across many online channels, Pottery Barn Kids, Land of Nod, Wayfair and other retail outlets. Her first children’s book – I Wish for You was released in 2019 and will be rereleased under Macmillan’s imprint Roaring Brook in 2022.
Brett received her MBA with a focus in wellness and spa from Johnson at Cornell University, where she graduated as a Park Fellow; she also earned her bachelors degree in Architecture from Cornell University.
